For many years, this was the most sophisticated scientific method anyone had for gameday predictions. If you can bear the loud metal buzz and tedium of re-standing up every player this may be the method for you. It’s also a great way to spend time with the kids!

The Madden Football videogame series is currently the most accurate process of determining a winner that humans possess. With every new iteration, the graphics and player’s artificial intelligence are improved making for eerily realistic simulations of pending games. Set up both teams to play against eachother in computer-controlled mode and sit-back for a possibly-accurate preview of Sunday’s upcoming action.

While largely untested, building a time machine may be the ultimate method for accurately picking Sunday’s winners. Use it on Monday to travel back to Sunday and tell your past-self exactly what went down on the gridiron.
